Another online journal, another flag-planting in cyberspace with the proclamation “Listen up, world, I’ve got something important to say!” like every other at-all-endowed-individual-with-either-private-or-public-internet-access.
I shudder while I type this.
While I don’t believe that what I have to say could ever fall under the definition of “important” (unless there was a fire in a very tall building with many oblivious people in it and I was the only one who noticed the fire and had to warn everyone else in the building to get out before the fire reached the very tall staircase…but whyever would I be warning people of a fire via the internet?), I do believe that it has enough merit for me to have created this site. Additionally, I’d like for this site to be able to serve as a sort of online portfolio if the need arises, both for writing and photography. At the moment, I don’t have anything that functions as such, and the whole notebook and folder-filing system is getting a bit hard to work with as it gradually but steadily continues to grow.
